Finally, some really great weather. Strong sun, temperature in the high 20's, just a little breeze, real sitting-outside-weather. And look what has arrived to keep us company: two new families on the basin.
It's good to see the cygnets. We had two some years ago but they were killed when quite young, by an air rifle I believe.
In both families, the fathers seem quite protective, so it is not easy to get close to photograph them.
